SMS Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before opting into the SMS text messaging program provided by Balanced Chiropractic, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By opting in, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Program Description

Balanced Chiropractic, LLC offers a mobile messaging program to provide patients with appointment reminders, treatment follow-ups, office updates (e.g., holiday hours), and administrative notifications. Messages may be sent via automated technology.

2. User Opt-In

To participate, users must provide express consent. This can be done via a website contact form, a written intake form, or by texting a keyword to our office number. By providing your phone number, you represent that you are the owner or authorized user of the device. By opting into this program, you acknowledge and agree that you are 18 years of age or older. By providing your phone number, you represent that you are the owner or authorized user of the device and have the authority to consent to receive messages.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the practice. You can expect to receive messages related to scheduled appointments and occasional office updates.

4. Cost and Carrier Disclosure

Message and data rates may apply. Balanced Chiropractic, LLC does not charge for this service; however, your mobile carrier may charge for sending or receiving text messages based on your individual service plan.

5. Supported Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Most major U.S. carriers are supported, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.

6. Opt-Out (Stop)

You may cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to (469) 238-2243. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To join again, simply sign up as you did the first time.

8. Privacy & HIPAA Disclaimer

Your use of this service is subject to our Privacy Policy. Please note that while our internal systems are secure, standard SMS messaging is not a fully encrypted form of communication. By opting in, you acknowledge that text messages may be unencrypted and may contain limited protected health information (PHI) such as appointment times or provider names.
